GLA Announces Exciting Leadership Changes for 2022

ATLANTA – Georgia Life Alliance, the state’s leading pro-life organization and affiliate of National Right to Life, will be making changes to its senior leadership team.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that veteran political activist, conservative radio host, and founding Board Member Martha Zoller will be taking the helm as interim Executive Director. Effective immediately, Zoller will lead GLA into a new chapter as we prepare for historic legislative and election victories.

Current Executive Director Joshua Edmonds is moving to the Stoneridge Group as a Senior Strategist helping to elect pro-life candidates in Georgia and around the nation. He will continue to serve as a volunteer Senior Policy Advisor and strategist for GLA’s legislative efforts.

“From passing the Heartbeat Bill to protecting the pro-life majority in the 2020 elections, we have made pro-life great again in Georgia,” said Joshua Edmonds, outgoing Executive Director.  “It has been the greatest honor of my professional career to serve as Executive Director – but now it’s time for me to focus on making sure we have the right folks in office to preserve the pro-life victories we won over the last 3 years. In looking to GLA’s past and future, Martha’s commitment to this organization is a constant. I’m grateful for her continued service to building a culture of life and she has my unwavering support as she takes the wheel.”

“The shoes Joshua leaves behind are big ones to fill, but Martha is a one-of-a-kind leader who is going to bring GLA to the next level. I’m so excited to welcome her back into the GLA family,” said GLA Board Chairwoman Emily Matson.

No stranger to Georgia politics, Martha Zoller has been a powerhouse in conservative radio for nearly 3 decades and has served as a senior staffer for both Governor Brian Kemp as well as Senator David Perdue. In 2014, she helped launch GLA as a key member of our Founding Board.

“At this unique time in our history and in the fight for the rights of the unborn as well as affirming the value of life at all stages, this mission was too important for me to sit on the sidelines,” said incoming interim Executive Director Martha Zoller. Martha can be contacted directly at [email protected].

Georgia Life Alliance is the largest pro-life group in the state and the only state affiliate to National Right to Life.
