Claire Bartlett

Executive Director

Claire brings a unique mix of experience to Georgia Life Alliance with more than three decades of corporate, political, and grassroots leadership. As a high-tech executive, Claire led her company into a $425 million international merger. She founded several political organizations to grow awareness and action toward conservative causes. As founder of Fulton County Republican Women, she put principles into action by launching a partnership with a local pregnancy resource center and the Foster Care Support Foundation.  She has been a leader in the Fulton County and Georgia Republican Parties for over 15 years. 

 

Prior to joining GLA, Claire served on staff for Congressman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) for 8 years.  During her tenure she became known as a highly influential congressional staffer and a critical asset to the pro-life movement.

 

Claire and her husband, Darrell, live in Roswell and have recently become grandparents. 


Bryan Tyson

Chairman, General Counsel

Bryan Tyson focuses on civil litigation, appellate litigation, election law, and government. He primarily represents governments, candidates, and companies in election and campaign finance matters.

 

Previously, Mr. Tyson served as the Executive Director of the Georgia Public Defender Council, a role that has been described as the managing partner of the largest criminal defense firm in the state. Before serving at GPDC, Bryan was an associate at a litigation boutique, where he focused on civil and appellate litigation in state and federal court. He has represented clients before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

 

Prior to admission to the bar, he worked in the Georgia General Assembly, most recently with the office of the minority leader of the Georgia House of Representatives. Following his work in the Georgia General Assembly, Mr. Tyson served as a policy aide to former Third District Congressman Lynn Westmoreland in Washington, D.C.

 

Bryan and his wife, Shelley, have actively supported Cobb Pregnancy Services where Shelly volunteered as a counselor. They make their home in the Atlanta area where they serve at their church, are involved in volunteer work, and are the parents of two daughters.


Jay Williams

Vice Chairman

Jay Williams is the Founder and Managing Principal of the Stoneridge Group (SRG). He has served premiere officeholders and candidates on every level, from President to Governor to Congress to State House. Founded in 2000, over 80% of SRG clients have claimed victory on election day. Jay has been named by Campaigns & Elections “Influencer 500” list of the nation’s top campaign operatives.

Raised in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, Jay now lives in very suburban Cumming, GA. A former foster child, Jay is actively involved several non-profit orphan care and adoption organizations including Illuminate India, Bethany Christian Services, and the Georgia Life Alliance.


Dr. Kathleen Raviele

Secretary

Dr. Kathleen M. Raviele is a recently retired gynecologist in the Atlanta area. She is a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), a member of the American Association of Pro-Life Ob-Gyns (AAPLOG) and has been on the board of the Catholic Medical Association (CMA) in various roles for fifteen years, serving as president of the CMA in 2008. She represents the CMA as a consultant for the Pro-Life Secretariat of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. She completed the National Catholic Bioethics Center's course on health care ethics in 2010 and speaks throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta on marriage and human life topics. She served as the volunteer medical director for the Pregnancy Aid Clinic for ten years and co-authored several published research studies on the Marquette Method of Natural Family Planning.


Mary Boyert

Treasurer

Mary and her husband Tom have lived in the Atlanta area since 1978, when they moved from their home state of Ohio. Until recently they lived with their daughter and young granddaughter, with all the benefits and challenges of a three-generation household. They are grateful to the birth mothers of both their children, their daughter and a son who died in 1994. Their family includes two adult grandchildren and numerous family members in Ohio and other parts of the country.

 

Mary and Tom are members at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Johns Creek, and Mary serves on the parish Respect Life Ministry and is a catechist in the faith formation program. She currently volunteers as Treasurer and Director of Operations for Georgia Life Alliance. She recently retired from the Archdiocese of Atlanta, where she served as Director of the Respect Life Ministry for 16 years. Previously she served with Georgia Right to Life for 21 years, where she was education chairman, president, and executive director. She taught first and second grades for several years before becoming involved in the pro-life movement in the early 1970’s.

 

Inspired by one of her personal heroes, St. John Paul II, Mary has advocated for a culture of life in a variety of ways, mainly in the areas of education and public policy advocacy. She was influential in the passage of every piece of pro-life legislation passed in Georgia between 1980 and 2015, and to a slightly lesser degree the past few years.

 

Mary and Tom enjoy traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include reading, nature, and learning the piano.


Emily Matson

Board Member

Emily is an attorney from Rome, Georgia. She and her husband, Patrick Matson, work together in their law firm of Matson & Matson, P.C.


Emily has been a longtime believer and supporter of the pro-life movement, beginning in her childhood as she watched her mom serve as a counselor at the local crisis pregnancy center and then as her family went through the private adoption process regarding her younger brother. Emily has worked for pro-life candidates and political organizations, including Alliance Defending Freedom (formerly Alliance Defense Fund), has coordinated voter drives aimed at the Christian voter, and served for years on the steering committee of the Rome Crisis Pregnancy Center Prayer Breakfast. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of TeenPact Leadership School and is an Allied Attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom.


The Matsons both graduated from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During law school, Emily was a Blackstone Fellow, interned with Home School Legal Defense and did an externship with the American Center for Law and Justice.


As an attorney, Emily has finalized a number of private adoptions and specializes in the legitimation of children born to unmarried fathers. In addition, she conducts estate planning with an end-of-life planning component involving medical decisions and the appointment of medical decision-makers.


Emily and Patrick live in Rome, Georgia with their three children, Beau, Lily, and Jack.


Martha Zoller

Board Member

Martha Zoller is a force on the conservative political landscape. She hosts “The Martha Zoller Show” on heritage station WDUN for Jacobs Media in Gainesville, Georgia coming full circle to the place where it all began. After graduating in 1979 from The University of Georgia with a degree in Journalism from the prestigious Grady School of Journalism, she worked in the corporate world and met a payroll.


She is a wife, mother and a grandmother. She’s stayed at home and juggled children and working priorities. Martha Zoller knows there is no glass ceiling and women can have it all, just not at the same time. A life long learner, Zoller completed her MA in Political Science in 2021 at the University of Georgia’s School of Politics and International Affairs. Her thesis was on women’s electoral success in the GOP.


Until June, 2019, Zoller was the State Director of Field Offices for Governor Brian Kemp. From 2014 until 2018, she worked for Sen. David Perdue in senior staff positions and then joined the Brian Kemp for Governor campaign in a senior outreach position in 2018. 


Lisa Kinnemore

Board member

Lisa Kinnemore is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County. After graduating from Chamblee High School, she attended West Georgia College, then transferred to Georgia State University where she worked her way through school and earned a bachelor’s degree. Upon graduating, she worked in sales and as an account manager for differe​nt companies before deciding to leave the workplace for home to raise her boys.

 

 Lisa home educated two of her sons for 15 years. She was on the board of N. E. Independent Preparatory Academy for 5 years. Those experiences provided her with the insight of sound educational and financial management.


Lisa is committed to representing our district with honesty, integrity, and fiscal responsibility. She is willing to work with the residents in this state to make our communities and district a better place to live.

 

Lisa and her husband, Garry, have three sons and reside in Stone Mountain.​​


Lance Cooper

Board Member

Lance is the founding partner of The Cooper Firm, a law firm located in Cobb County.


Lance and his wife Sonja have been active in the pro-life movement for over 25 years. They have been long time supporters of Cobb Pregnancy Services (the crisis pregnancy center in Cobb County, an Atlanta suburb). He and Sonja have both served as Board Members for Cobb Pregnancy Services. Lance and Sonja have also supported many pro-family organizations, including Focus on the Family.


Lance and Sonja live in Powder Springs, Georgia where they attend Midway Presbyterian Church. Lance and Sonja have five children.


Susan Lataif

Board member

Susan was the former legislative director of Ohio Right to Life. Thereafter, she worked as the associate legislative director for NRLC and served as the spokesman for National Right to Life. She currently serves as an at large director on the NRLC Board. Susan lives in Rome, Georgia with her husband, Dr. Louis Lataif, and their seven children.
